Highlighting both upcoming and legendary producers on Drake's album trio released on May 15

During an elaborate monthslong album rollout, a large pyramid of ice was erected in Toronto late April, a visual representation of ICEMAN. Inside the structure was the release date of Drake’s ninth full-length studio album. As the structure melted and was ultimately chipped away at by fans and passersby, it also served as a metaphor for the Toronto native’s thawing yearlong hiatus.
Coming off of his October 2023 solo studio album, For All The Dogs, his collaborative album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, in February 2025, and the unforgettable feud between him and Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar, Drake announced in the fourth episode of his YouTube livestream series “ICEMAN” a tri-album release on May 15, which introduced MAID OF HONOUR and HABIBTI shortly before midnight.
ICEMAN, MAID OF HONOUR, and HABIBTI pack in a combined 43 songs — with more than 70 producers credited and features from 21 Savage, Future, Molly Santana, and Sexyy Red, among others — as his clapback to all the media discourse and critiques over the past few years. Here’s a breakdown of our picks for the most influential collaborators on the album.

With credits on eight songs across ICEMAN and HABIBTI, multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated producer London Cyr was launched into stardom after his work on “Can’t Say” off of Travis Scott’s sensational Astroworld album. Cyr’s production credits also include releases by Drake, Don Toliver, Doja Cat, KILLY, and 6LACK. In 2021, he was signed by fellow Canadian producer WondaGurl to her label Wonderchild, a joint venture with Sony Music Publishing and Scott’s Cactus Jack Records. When asked about who he would want to work with one day, he told Complex in an interview at the time, “Obviously the cliché Canadian producer one is Drake. I really want to work with Drake one day,” highlighting Drake’s May 15 release as a full-circle moment for Cyr.
“[Drake,] can’t thank you enough for what you’ve done for us, changed my life,” he wrote on Instagram following the drop. “Big up to all the masterminds and creatives involved in the process.”
