Further teasing his forthcoming third full-length album, which is set to come out later this year, Mura Masa has returned with his first single this year, bringing together an all-star lineup of collaborators for “bbycakes.” The prolific producer has enlisted Lil Uzi Vert, PinkPanthress and Shygirl to lend their talents on “bbycakes,” which samples the 2004-released "Babycakes" by U.K. garage trio 3 Of A Kind.
Directly following Mura Masa’s solo single “2gether,” “bbycakes” is an uplifting yet nostalgic auditory journey filled with heavenly melodies and strong writing, while displaying incredible chemistry between the collaborators. Mura Masa and Shygirl remixed Lady Gaga’s single “Sour Candy” last year, while the UK-based artist also produced PinkPanthress’ hit “Just for me” off her debut album to hell with it.
