Teaming up with fellow artist Somni to share a collaborative EP in the form of Sirens last year, as well as remixing “Rise Again” by afternoon bike ride, have been just two recent highlights for Harris Cole. The widely celebrated artist, who has also enjoyed massive success through his NFT drops throughout 2022, has now finally unveiled the first single off his forthcoming EP, teaming up with Juliana Chahayed for “Again.”
Harris Cole usually follows an instrumental approach with his music, so it’s refreshing to see him collaborate with a singer on this brand new single, which nicely combines his unmatched taste for relaxing and laid-back productions with Juliana Chahayed's intimate vocal lines. The single starts off with washed-out guitar melodies and atmospheres, before organic percussion and subtle instrumentation complement Juliana Chahayed’s singing perfectly, making up for an auditory result that is as smooth as it is playful.
Harris Cole’s forthcoming EP is titled always less, and it’s slated for release in October via Friends of Friends. “Again” is also paired with an instrumental version, titled “Crashing.”
