The 2021 Grammy Awards ceremony was just held in Los Angeles, with the likes of Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion and more being awarded in some of the biggest categories. Through the GRAMMY Awards are often criticized by artists and the community for their vague voting process among other things, there’s no doubt the ceremony holds a lot of weight within the industry.
Spotlighting Bad Bunny’s YHLQMDLG, which received an award for Best Latin Pop or Urban Album, we decided to showcase three massively talented producers who received their first GRAMMY Award, and have been making waves within the industry over the past few years: Based1, Payday and FORTHENIGHT. Additionally, we should definitely mention all the other producers who worked on YHLQMDLG and helped shape it into the album that it is: Subelo NEO, Elikai, Lenex, Mora, EMG, Dylan Cleary Krell, Tainy, Nesty, Demi & Clipz, Chris Jedi, Gaby Music, Haze, Nino, Mvsis, Jota Rosa, Hazen, Dímelo Flow, Soteldo Beats, EZ Made Da Beat, Prida, Dj Orma, Taiko, Hide Miyabi, Frank King, The Skybeats and Albert Hype.

Payday, who produced “Está Cabrón Ser Yo” featuring Anuel AA, has worked with artists such as NLE Choppa, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Tecca and many more, most notably producing 6ix9ine’s comeback single “GOOBA” last year.
